A Versatile APT Experiment for Routine 13C Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy

The Broadband Attached Proton Test (BAPT) sequence allows the user to easily record 13C-APT and quaternary carbon only spectra. Compared to earlier Attached Proton Test experiments, it preserves both tolerance for wide ranges of 1JCH and effective suppression of residual CHn signals in the quaternary carbon only spectra.
Recording of edited spectra or quaternary carbon only spectra is made easy by a single, user-controllable constant.

This work was carried out in the group of Prof. Dr. Julien Furrer.
